Growing Up
Hi, I'm Payton! A photographer and videographer with a passion for capturing life's most genuine and special moments - from the show barn to the college graduation.
I grew up in the small town of Van Alstyne, Texas, surrounded by agriculture but not fully immersed in it until I started showing livestock. What began as a "simple" project quickly turned into a lifelong appreciation and passion for the agricultural industry and the people who make it special.
My Time at Texas Tech
That passion for agriculture ultimately led me to Texas Tech University, where I earned my bachelor's in agricultural communications and developed my skills in photography, videography, and design. Those experiences taught me not just how to use a camera - but how to tell a story.
Throughout my time at Texas Tech, I took many classes that I feel have better prepared me for the future. These courses included photography, videography, graphic design, news writing, Adobe programs, and more. Implementing and practicing the things learned in these courses outside of the classroom have kept my knowledge and skills sharp and further prepared me to utilize them in the future.
Passion and Purpose
Today, I am lucky enough to work with a wide range of clients. From capturing the grit and excitement of a stock show to documenting the joy of senior sessions, family milestones, and everything in between. No matter the setting, my goal is the same: to create media that feels authentic, timeless, and true to you.
I believe every moment has a story worth preserving, and I'm here to make sure those memories are captured in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
